02 July 2024 Kuwait

The Ministry of Health has launched its Visiting Doctors Program for July, welcoming 12 specialists from various medical and health fields across several countries. This initiative aims to bolster medical services in Kuwait, ensuring the delivery of top-notch care to all patients.

In a press statement issued today, the ministry detailed that the visiting doctors hail from Canada, Britain, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Germany. Their expertise spans key disciplines such as general surgery, urology, otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat surgery), nursing, radiation protection, and other critical areas.

These international specialists are tasked with providing precise medical diagnoses, performing necessary surgical procedures, and delivering therapeutic care to patients. The program emphasizes knowledge exchange with local health professionals, aimed at enhancing medical practices and updating therapeutic methods to meet global standards.

Highlighting its commitment to advancing the health sector, the ministry underscored the program’s role in integrating leading international expertise. It reaffirmed its dedication to attracting global medical talents and developing advanced training programs to elevate healthcare standards across Kuwait.

To view the list of visiting doctors, schedule appointments, and upload necessary documents, individuals can utilize the Kuwait Health application or the unified government application, Sahel. This streamlined approach aims to facilitate access to specialized medical care and enhance patient experience within the healthcare system.
