Kuwaiti doctors recorded the highest pass in specialization exams with 95% pass rate
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Secretary-General of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations, announced significant success among doctors in specialized programs in Kuwait. Here are the key points from the press statement:
Pass Rate: 95% of doctors enrolled in the first year of 23 specialized programs have successfully passed their exams. This achievement reflects the dedication and competence of 357 doctors, both male and female.
Endorsement and Congratulations: Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, Minister of Health, has endorsed these results and extended congratulations to all successful candidates. This recognition underscores the importance of academic excellence in medical specialization.

Introduction of MCQ Exam: The introduction of the Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) exam for first-year doctors, approved during the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization’s 72nd Board of Trustees meeting in December 2022, aims to uphold rigorous scientific standards in medical practice. This initiative is part of efforts to enhance the overall quality and service standards of healthcare institutions across Kuwait.
