Moh Suspected 38 Cases Of Coronavirus Infections Among 366 Passengers
The Ministry of Health suspected 38 cases of coronavirus infections among the 366 passengers that arrived from three destinations today. All passengers arriving from Beirut, Manama and Cairo by the three flights today were subjected to Coronavirus tests which revealed 38 suspected infections, a reliable source told Al Rai today
Five passengers from Lebanon were suspected which included 3 cases from one family, wife, infant, husband and another Filipina domestic worker. While the arrivals from Cairo included 33 cases of suspicion of Covid 19 out of which 29 were Kuwaiti citizens and the others included a Sri Lankan, Ethiopian, Indian and Filipino national. All cases were transferred to the Jaber Hospital for further tests and treatment.
Earlier before the arrival of the flight the Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled inspected the medical facilities at the airport to review the medical facilities provided to all passengers arriving and the protocols that would be followed.
