Moh Denies Reports About Fraud
The Ministry of Health has denied reports about fraud in the appointment of a doctor as legal adviser, reports Al- Anba daily. The ministry rubbished the news calling it pure rumors. The ministry also said legal action will be taken against those found guilty of violating the laws and regulations or waste of money in any sector of the ministry. The ministry called upon the newspapers and social media to ensure the accuracy of what is being published about the Ministry of Health which does not benefit anyone but brings harm.
Meanwhile Ministry of Health has set the regulations for overtime work, reports Al-Anba daily. As per these regulations, the working hours of overtime will be from 2pm to 6pm with commitment to attendance for completion of the overtime assignment.
Those who are assigned for overtime work must prove their attendance and exit by signing the attendance sheet. There will be no reduction in the overtime working hours for the employees. Meanwhile, Civil Service Commission (CSC) has nominated 661 citizens, who are registered in CSC as unemployed, for vacancies in governmental bodies, reports Al-Rai daily quoting an informed source.
He revealed that CSC has nominated 298 citizens to work in Ministry of Education and the rest in special roles as inspectors in General Customs Department, Ministry of Commerce and Kuwait Municipality. Also, the CSC approved the request of the Ministry of Education to renew the contracts of 85 Syrian teachers after rejecting it twice, reports Al-Rai daily.
The commission rejected the request twice as these teachers have been in service for 34 years, but their rare fields of specialization were taken into consideration when the request was submitted for the third time; hence, the approval. According to a source from the educational sector, these teachers are excluded from the replacement policy considering their rare fields of specialization and unavailability of national manpower qualified to replace them.
