The Ministry of Education is preparing to announce the vacancies in the Public Education Sector for non-Kuwaiti teachers who will be contracted locally to fill the shortage of teachers in the 2021/2022 academic year, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed educational sources. They revealed that the administrative sector will announce the start of the application process immediately after Eid Al-Fitr through the ministry’s website, indicating that teachers for eight subjects are required – French, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology and music.

The sources said the ministry needs about 600 teachers, especially in light of the return to traditional method of studies in September. They indicated that the priority for appointment after Kuwaitis will be for children of Kuwaiti women, the Bedoun residents, citizens of GCC countries, and then expatriates.
