Mew Solves Controversy Of ‘bonus’ For Workers
The Ministry of Electricity and Water has resolved the controversy which erupted in the social media, about the date ‘excellent work reward’ payment to the employees of the ministry, and confirmed that payments have been approved and will be submitted to the Central Bank next Sunday, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The sources indicated the ‘reward’ statements for fiscal 2019/2020 were approved by the Comptroller of the ministry and said 12 thousand out of 22 thousand employees are entitled for the reward. The sources pointed out a total of 9 million dinars are expected to be distributed in the form of excellent work reward.
The money has been allocated in the annual budget of the ministry within the category of workers compensation, which includes salaries and bonus. The sources pointed out that the ministry will form a committee to study and discuss the grievances against ‘excellent works’ and annual assessments which may be submitted by some employees, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Civil Service Commission that regulates the awarding of rewards to government agencies and ministries.
