Legal Action Vowed Against Non Compliant Contractors
In light of the failure of the contractors of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) to implement their contracts according to the schedule and failure to adhere to the requirements of security and safety during the implementation of their works, which endangers the lives of others and gardeners, especially children and the elderly, the Director-General of the authority, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Youssef, has decided to take all legal action against non-compliant contractors, and urge them to abide by the law, to complete these gardens, in response to what was published by Al- Rai following places that have been dug and abandoned in the Salwa Park, reports Al- Rai daily.
Al-Youssef told the daily he met with the concerned official in the authority and listened to his remarks, and clarified the reason for the failure of contractors to implement the terms of contracts concluded with the authority and the delay in the implementation of projects and the sector’s efforts to monitor them.
Al-Youssef mentioned that there are 17 new gardens in which the works of contractors are suspended, indicating that these gardens are in Al-Zahra, Al Salam, Mubarak Al Abdullah, Qairawan, Saad Al-Abdullah and Abdullah Al-Mubarak.'
