Kuwaitis Starting To Opt For Work In Restaurants
The Kuwaiti youth have recently been accepting work in unfamiliar fields, taking up careers that people hardly see Kuwaitis take up, reports Al- Qabas daily.
Some of them hold university certificate; for instance, Mohammad Al-Rubaia’an and Sara Al-Khareef. Sara, who graduated from political sciences, and Mohammad, who is studying in nursing college, are both working in restaurants.
Even though a career in restaurants is usually only restricted to expatriates, Sara Al- Khareef who graduated from Faculty of Political Sciences in Kuwait University in 2019 challenged the circumstances and decided to develop her cooking skills and talent by applying for a job in a restaurant.
She revealed that she received encouragement from the Kuwaiti society who expressed their pride in her. Mohammad Al-Rubaia’an, a student in the Faculty of Nursing Studies, started working in a restaurant seven years ago. He revealed that he prepared his first meal for his younger brother
