Kuwaitis Residing Overseas Has Revealed That 90 Percent Of Them Live In Saudi Arabia
A survey conducted on Kuwaitis residing overseas has revealed that 90 percent of them live in Saudi Arabia while 10 percent of them live in countries that have strong ties with Kuwait such as the GCC member states, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Morocco, London, France, Germany, USA, Th ailand and the Philippines.
They expressed their surprise over the large number of Kuwaiti residents in Saudi Arabia who have not visited the country for some time, which prove that they might be carrying other nationalities other than Kuwaiti citizenship or they could belong there and have no relatives in Kuwait but could only be connected with Kuwait for financial benefits such as housing, salaries, financial aids and commercial licenses they are leasing.
The sources said about 100,000 dual citizenship holders visit the country only during occasions such as elections of parliament, municipal or cooperative societies or when they are requested to report to Public Authority for Social Security or any other governmental agency.
