Kuwait National Seismic Network: 2.4 Magnitude Earthquake In The Northeast Of The Country

The Kuwaiti National Seismic Network at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research said today, Tuesday, an earthquake measuring 2.4 on the Richter scale in the northeast of the country and west of Bubiyan Island.

The Director of the Decision Makers Support Program, who supervises the Kuwaiti National Seismic Network at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, Dr. Abdullah Al-Anzi, said in a press statement that the earthquake occurred at exactly 11:30 a.m. Kuwait time at a depth of 12 kilometers underground.
