Kuwait National Guard Distributed Food Baskets To The Khaitan Area Residents

The Kuwait National Guard on Friday, distributed food baskets to the residents of the lockdown area Khaitan.

The National Guard is responsible for securing Khaitan and supervising its isolation. In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, as part of the measures to combat the coronavirus.

Commenting on this initiative, National Guard Brigadier-General Riyad Muhammad Tawari, said in a statement that "this initiative comes Based on the directives of the Supreme Command of the National Guard represented by His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Head of the National Guard, and His Excellency Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy National Guard.”

He pointed out that the National Guard Society prepared food baskets that contained a variety of basic commodities covering the necessary needs of the beneficiaries.

Brigadier Tawari explained that the distribution of this aid by the National Guard comes at a time when his team performs their national duty to maintain security and stability and secure the isolated health region of Khaitan as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of (Corona).
