Kuwait Ministry Of Interior Denies Arresting Expat For Impersonating Police

The Ministry of Interior denied that they arrested an Arab expat who had been falsely accused of wearing a police uniform and setting up a makeshift face mask checkpoint, local media reported.

The Ministry of Interior added the story is fake and the event did not occur.

The public relations and communications department of the Ministry of Interior has announced that it will take all necessary legal procedures against the social media accounts that published the story.

According to the communications law, it is a crime to spread fake news.
