Kuwait Lists 14 Coronavirus Cases, 21 Recoveries

The Ministry of Health confirmed just 14 coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, which took Kuwait’s caseload to 413,120.

No deaths from the viral illness were reported so the death toll remained unchanged at 2,464, the ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad said in a statement on Saturday. Another 21 Covid-19 patients were cured, raising the overall recoveries to 410,404, he said, noting that the recoveries represent 99.34 percent of the infections.

The number patients who still receive regular treatment stands at 252, including 17 hospitalized and a single ICU occupant.

14,617 more swab tests have been conducted, raising the overall tests to 5,161,824, he added.
