Kuwait Imported Iron And Steel Products Worth 568 Mln Dinars Last Year

According to official figures, Kuwait imported raw and produced metals worth roughly 803 million dinars in 2021, and iron and steel goods made up 71% of all imports with a value of 568 million dinars.

According to a local Arabic newspaper, Kuwait imported about 271.49 million dinars worth of iron and steel in 2021, making up about 48 percent of the country's total imports in this category. Iron and steel-related goods made up about 52 percent of the country's total imports, which totaled 296.65 million dinars.

This occurs at a time when Kuwait imported metal tableware, including all forms of cutlery, worth around 28.6 million dinars during the course of the previous year, 71 million dinars worth of copper items, and 94.7 million dinars worth of aluminium.
