Kuwait Expects Rain And Thunderstorms Starting Sunday Afternoon

Kuwait Meteorological Department forecasts rain starting Sunday afternoon and lasting until Monday afternoon. As explained by Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Department, this weather phenomenon is caused by the proliferation of low and medium clouds interspersed with cumulonimbus clouds, resulting in scattered light to medium-intensity rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and heavy downpours.

Active southeasterly winds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour and sea waves higher than six feet are predicted to affect the western and northern regions of the country.
