Kpc To Provide Over 4600 Jobs For Kuwaitis
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) will provide more than 4,600 jobs for Kuwaitis during the next five years, that is, until 2024 at the KPC and its subsidiaries, reports Al-Rai daily quoting oil sources.
The sources pointed out that the Minister of Oil, Minister of Electricity and Water Dr. Khalid Al-Fadhl and CEO Hashem Hashem, spoke of the need to put in place employment plans in the oil sector through coordination with the concerned authorities to meet the recruitment process and absorb the largest number of applicants according to oil needs.
The sources said the oil-employment plan is led by the national oil companies through the employment of more than 4,600 citizens, pointing out that there is continuous cooperation and coordination between the KPC and its subsidiaries with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training and the Kuwait University which is part of the five-year plan. According to the plans, the fiscal 2019/2020 is expected to see the recruitment of about 1,500 new employees, more than 1,000 employees in 2020/2021 and about 700 for the next financial years.”
