Interior Ministry Inspects Many Isolated Residential Areas
Deputy Minister of the Interior Lieutenant General Issam Al-Naham undertook a field inspection tour on Sunday, which included a number of precautionary isolated residential areas, as part of measures to combat the spread of the Corona virus emerging (Covid 19).
During the tour, which included the Khaitan, Farawaniya and Hawalli regions, Al-Nahham stressed the need to implement the law firmly and severely against violators of cabinet decisions related to confronting the epidemic according to a statement issued by the General Administration of Relations and Security Media at the Ministry of Interior.
He directed the necessity of working with one spirit team to achieve the desired goals and protect the health system in the country, stressing the importance of vigilance and dedication in the performance of duty.
According to the statement, Al-Naham inspected the headquarters of the security points and detachments in the Hawalli region, where he listened from the field security leaders for the measures that are being implemented to implement the isolation decision to preserve the community health.
During his visit to the Khaitan region, which oversees the procedures for isolation by the National Guard, Al-Niham was briefed on the security points and followed up the inspection procedures for trucks and vehicles. He also listened to the security leaders on the plans and mechanisms for implementing the relevant decisions.
While inspecting the security points in the Farwaniya area, which are supervised by the Ministry of Defense, the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry praised the prominent role of the security and military authorities in addressing the (Covid 19) pandemic and coordination and joint cooperation in order to achieve the desired goals.
Al-Naham was accompanied during the tour by the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major Faraj Al-Zoubi.
