Flexible Working Hours Not Suitable For MoH

Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, has emphasized that flexible working hours are not suitable for the Ministry of Health. In response to a parliamentary inquiry about the adoption of flexible working hours across government agencies, he highlighted the unique nature of work in health ministry facilities, stating that it is not conducive to flexible schedules. As of now, the ministry has not issued any decision regarding the implementation of flexible working hours.

While some other ministries have already introduced flexible working hours for their employees on a Sunday-to-Thursday basis, with a 7-hour workday, the Ministry of Health remains committed to a different approach due to the distinctive demands of its operations
