Family Visas Issuance Are To Be Stopped By All Residency Affairs Departments

Al-Anba daily reports that a security source instructed the residency affairs departments to stop granting family visas until further notice. According to the source, this is in accordance with the directive of ministerial leadership, which clarifies that some professionals, such as doctors, are exempt from the law.

Sources said the decision does not affect those who were previously granted visas to be here with their families. In his explanation, he explained the decision was made in accordance with regulations issued by the assistant undersecretary for Residency Affairs and director general of the Residency Affairs General Department. The decision is valid until a study on regulating visit visa procedures is completed.
