Expat Indemnity In Kuwait

In fiscal 2022/2023, the State spent KD31.475 million on end-of-service benefits for non-Kuwaiti employees in several government agencies, Al-Seyassah daily reported. The report affirmed that the bonuses were paid in accordance with the employment contracts, relevant decisions, executive regulations of Civil Service Law No. 15/1979 and Gulf Cooperation Council regulations governing subsidiaries.

According to official figures, Kuwait spent KD8.502 billion on workers' compensation for fiscal 2022/2023, or 99.6 percent of the approved budget for this item. Additionally, the State spent KD4.6 million on health insurance for non-Kuwaitis last fiscal year.
