Electric Car Project In Kuwait Discussed By Kisr, Automobile Agents Union

With the Union of Automobile Agents in Kuwait, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) discussed ways to increase cooperation on electric car projects, as well as suggestions and recommendations that ensure such vehicles are suitable for extremely hot climates.

According to a press release published by KIRS on Tuesday, the meeting addressed the results of the first project conducted by the institute and supported by Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).

Dr. Hedab Al-Hamawi, the project manager, stated that the two parties are considering new projects comparing the performance of four-wheel drive electric vehicles using solar charging ports.

According to Dr. Al-Hamawi, solar power promotes the use of renewable energy and preserves the environment.
