Dust Storm Forces Kuwait Airport To Close

According to Kuwait's DGCA, air traffic in the state of Kuwait was temporarily suspended today, Monday May 23rd, at 2:20 pm local time, due to dust in the country.

Kuwait Civil Aviation Director General Emad Al-Juluwi, the deputy director general for air navigation services affairs, said that commercial flights will be rescheduled due to current weather patterns, and air traffic will resume only once the dust storm subsides.

On Monday, Kuwait was engulfed in a massive dust cloud, reducing visibility to nearly nothing.
