Duo Arrested On Charges Of Drugs, Kidnap And Forgery
Police have arrested a Kuwaiti citizen and a female compatriot for consuming drugs. They were picked up from an apartment after they were not seen for six days.
The arrest came after the woman’s Moroccan mother filed a complaint with the Capital Security Directorate accusing the man of kidnapping her Kuwaiti daughter and holding her captive for six days inside his house. After the police got a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, when went to his house, but did not find him there.
The police then went to his workplace and again failed to find him there, but securitymen were told by his colleagues that the man came to mark his attendance and left. The duo was then caught when they visited a dentist and were referred to the General Department for Criminal Investigations.
The results of investigations showed the woman was wanted by law and had been sentenced in absentia in a drugs case. Investigations also showed she always accompanied the Kuwaiti and used the civil ID of another woman to escape from police.
A case of kidnapping has been filed against the citizen and consuming drugs and forging documents have been filed against both of them.
