Detention Of 212 Expats For Residency Violations

212 expats were arrested at various locations for violating residency and labor laws. These locations include the vegetable market, Sharq market, fish market in the Sharq region, Mubarakiya market, stalls in the Mahboula area, Fahaheel fish market, and Fahaheel markets.

A comprehensive inspection campaign was conducted at these locations by the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations, with the involvement of the Research and Investigation Department, the Supervision and Coordination Department, the Financial and Administrative Services Department, the Tripartite Committee, the General Director's Division, and the Violators' Follow-Up Department.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 212 expats who were in violation of the Residency and Labor Law. Legal actions are currently underway to address these violations.
