Customs Department Said Paying Salary Of A Kuwaiti Employee Who Died 90 Days Ago
The General Customs Department is still paying the salary of a Kuwaiti employee who died 90 days ago. Falah Al-Adwani father of the deceased, Al-Adwani disclosed he was surprised as his son continues to receive salary from the department although he died in February.
He said this happened even if he submitted a copy of his son’s death certificate to the Finance Unit of the department. He explained that after discovering the payment of his son’s salary,
he again submitted the death certificate to the Finance Unit and the employee who received the document assured him that the salary payment will be stopped but he was surprised when the department deposited his son’s salary for the third time.
Al-Adwani wonders why the department continues to pay the salary of a worker who died three months ago, but it deducts from the salary of an employee who was absent for two days.
