Court Sentenced Nine Male And Female Suspects To Jail

The Court of Appeals nullified the verdict of First Instance Court that sentenced nine male and female suspects to various jail terms ranging from three months to two years. The Appellate Court accepted plea of the plaintiffs and pardoned the defendants on a public brawl that took place over parking space. The prosecution officer stated the first suspect, his children and some guests engaged a neighbor and members of his family in a fight after a guest of the defendant parked his car in front of the plaintiff’s house. The fight led to the use of knives. Lawyer Faisal Mohammad Al- Otaibi presented a signed document to the court indicating withdrawal of the plaintiff’s family from the case.
