Court Sentenced A Man To Pay Kd 58,000 To A Kuwaiti Woman As Compensation

The First Instance Court obligated a man to pay KD 58,000 to a Kuwaiti woman as compensation for the harm he caused her and the benefits she deserved. The dispute started when the defendant deceived the plaintiff by claiming he has a big project with huge benefits. He convinced the plaintiff to give him KD 20,000 for her to have a share in the project and he signed the trust paper. After about three years, the defendant did not hand the plaintiff her portion of the supposed benefits and he also refused to give her the capital. Attorney Noha Al-Rayess filed a lawsuit on behalf of the plaintiff demanding for compensation that her client deserves.
