11 February 2024 Crime News

In a recent judicial decision, the detention renewal judge has opted to extend the detention of six Kuwaiti nationals, three Egyptians, and two Saudis, along with five Bidouns, for an additional two weeks. This decision comes in the wake of charges leveled against them for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

The detainees, accused of “drug trafficking,” will remain in custody as legal proceedings progress. Additionally, the detention renewal judge has ruled to release Bidoun who was charged with drug possession. However, this release is contingent upon posting bail of 100 dinars and adhering to a travel ban.

The decision reflects the ongoing efforts of the judicial system to address cases related to drug offenses. As the legal process unfolds, authorities continue to uphold the rule of law and ensure that justice is served.
