The Appeals Circuit of the Misdemeanor Court cancelled the verdict issued by the Court of First Instance to imprison a Kuwaiti citizen who is accused of stealing movable property of an entertainment center. The court instead acquitted him.

The defense counsel Lawyer Talal Al-Enezi called for cancellation of the verdict, citing lack of incriminating evidences against his client. The Court of First Instance had referred the suspect to the General Department of Criminal Evidences after his fingerprints matched that found at the site of the incident. However, the department said the incident had not been reported to it, indicating that the lawsuit lacked incriminating evidences.
