Campaign To Train 3,378 Medical Staff To Raise Cancer Awareness

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Cancer Awareness Campaign (CAN) Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh said the campaign is training 3,378 medical staff to raise cancer awareness among the residents and citizens.

He explained, after the launch of the specialized training program for the nursing staff today, that 1,262 dentists were trained on early detection of oral cancer in cooperation with the Dental Department at the Ministry of Health, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Al-Saleh said that this comes within the framework of the continuation of the CAN’s approach to achieve its goal of raising cancer awareness, part of which deals with the establishment of specialized courses for dentists on visual investigation of oral tumors.
