Booster Dose Of Pfizer Vaccine Reduces Death Rate By 90 Percent: Study
Dr. Khaled Al-Jarallah, Chairman of the Supreme Advisory Committee to Confront Corona spoke of the genetic sequence of the new mutant calling it a consistent pattern known all over the universe.
On his Twitter account Dr Al-Jarallah pointed out, taking the three doses of the vaccine, remaining vigilant and continuing to take precautionary measures will contribute to the improvement of the epidemiological situation and called for supporting the efforts of the state, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Consultant of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Fahd Al-Najjar, said when a vaccinated person gets infected with the virus without showing symptoms is plausible and scientifically known, but using this methodology to delude that there is no difference between the vaccinated and unvaccinated person, is contrary to science.
Dr Al-Najjar indicated, through his social media account, that the chance of infection transmission through an unvaccinated person is greater, and likewise putting pressure on the health system.
He indicated, there is no need to panic at all, as “we are a society where a majority has been immunized and preventive measures are cent per cent effective that can delay viruses from entering the country but cannot prevent 100%, and cited New Zealand as an example where the borders were ‘tightly sealed’, but the virus found its way.
Al-Najjar pointed out according to one of the studies conducted on 840,000 people and published in the most prestigious medical journal “The New England Journal of Medicine” recently, found that the death rate from Covid-19 in the group 50 years and older that received two doses was higher than those who had taken the third dose of Pfizer by 90%.
