Amiri Hospital Closes Covid-19 Wards, Announces Zero Cases

With the overall epidemiological situation in the country improving the Amiri Hospital announced the closure of the last intensive care Covid-19 unit after recording zero cases.

The Al-Rai Arabic daily quoting specialist in internal diseases and intensive care cases at the Amiri Hospital, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Mutawa, said with the decline in the number of infections the Amiri Hospital was able to gradually close all three intensive care units.

He attributed the success to the great efforts exerted by the medical staff in general and the intensive care units personnel in particular.

Internal medicine specialist, Dr. Muhammad Mirza  also announced the closure of all five Covid-19 wards at the hospital.
