Al-fares Ends The Services Of 120 Expats
Informed sources in the Ministry of Public Works revealed to “Al-Rai” that the Minister of Works and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Dr. Rana Al-Faris will, in the middle of this month, end the services of 120 non-Kuwaiti employees working in the Ministry of Works.
The sources explained that the Ministry’s sectors have completed identifying the names of the employees who are included in the service termination list, and it has been submitted to the minister in preparation for approval, noting that Al Faris has developed a plan to terminate all expatriate employees working in the ministry by the end of the current fiscal year.
She pointed out that the process of ending the services of non-Kuwaitis that Al-Faris started and will end at the end of next March comes within the framework of the replacement plan pursued by the state, to provide more employment opportunities for the people of the country to fill the jobs that were occupied by non-Kuwaitis.
On the other hand, the sources indicated that there is joint coordination between the Ministry of Public Works and the Meteorology Department, so that the first second is provided with daily reports on the weather in preparation for the rainy season and the activation of the emergency plans that have been developed in this framework.
