African Gang Preying On Bank Customers Arrested
The Ministry of Interior stated that a African gang consisting of 5 members specialized in theft at various locations in the Capital governorate was arrested after monitoring them.
The 5 member gang of African nationality including a woman who was specialized in creating fake documents used in the crime scene was arrested. The gang use to visit various banks and use to wait inside and outside the bank monitoring bank customers.
They use to keep track of customers who use to leave the bank premises with large sum of money. As soon as the customer left the bank they use to follow the customers vehicle until he had stopped and left the vehicle leaving his cash in the vehicle. In this event they use to break vehicle glass and rob the cash which was in the vehicle.
The five suspects were arrested in different places along with some tools used in theft such as spark plugs, false licenses of rental cars used in theft and sums of money have been seized in their possession.
The accused have been arrested and were referred to the investigation authorities to take legal measures against them.
