Abu Dhabi Will Issues Direct Investment Licenses That Allow Full Foreign Ownership

The Emirates News Agency reported today, Wednesday, that Abu Dhabi will issue foreign direct investment licenses that allow foreign investors to fully own projects in the emirate in sectors including agriculture, industry and services.

The move comes in implementation of the Foreign Investment Law enacted in 2018, which allows foreign investors to own more than 49 percent and even 100 percent of some projects, as the country seeks to boost private sector activities.
