About 1,450 Flights Are Operated By Kuwait Airways

The airline said it operated approximately 1,450 flights between Kuwait and various destinations between December 22, 2022 and January 7, 2023, carrying about 205,000 passengers.

In a local Arabic daily quoting KAC sources, London, Cairo and Dubai were the three most popular winter vacation destinations, with an approximately 90% discipline rate in departure and arrival times; the Middle East and Africa, where 81.64 percent of 25,982 flights arrived on time during 2022.

Kuwait Airways' CEO, Eng. Maan Razzouqi said, “We are pleased that we succeeded in operating 1,450 flights during the winter vacation season.”

As he noted, the Board of Directors and Executive Management spare no effort in developing the company's fleet, as "we have recently received a number of new and modern aircraft with the latest technology in the aviation industry sector, as well as many diverse services for the convenience of our customers, whether in terms of comfortable seats or services provided.

Our fleet has highly trained hospitality staff, or even during the smooth completion of travel procedures at Terminal 4 according to the company's well-thought-out scientific plans.

Additionally, we follow closely the requirements and aspirations of our valued customers and conduct specialized studies to select new destinations within the Blue Bird family.

On his part, Captain Issa Al-Haddad, Assistant Chief Executive Officer for Operations Affairs, said: "Today we are pleased to announce the great success achieved by the company during the winter holiday season, confirming that we will be fully prepared for the summer holiday season in 2023."

He added that Kuwait Airways is keen to maintain The security and safety of its aircraft through the periodic maintenance it performs for all its fleet, as the company is committed to continuing to maintain the application of the highest standards and regulations set by international safety organizations, and develops them at all levels to keep pace with international standards for the air transport sector, and always strives to ensure that the security and safety of passengers are among its first priorities and one of its main goals, which is why Kuwait Airways has achieved many awards and certificates of appreciation.”

He stressed that all obstacles our customers may face during the completion of travel procedures must be overcome, adding that he is keen on selecting destinations that meet our customers' needs and aspirations at all times of the year and during the winter and summer seasons, taking into account the selection of destinations based on the needs of the local and global markets.
