A Proposal For Sidewalks And Bicycle Lanes For Pedestrians

Council member Abdullatif Al-Daei proposed that pedestrian and bicycle lanes be made on roads and sidewalks within the municipality.

In his proposal, Al-Daei stressed the importance of providing safe sidewalks for pedestrians on internal and main roads and to ensure the requirements such as providing appropriate shading, provide facilities such as sitting chairs, garbage bins, provide greenery etc.

In addition, he suggests providing space for bicycles and light means of transportation for all age groups, especially those with disabilities.

Furthermore, he suggested using heat-resistant materials and taking care of rainwater drainage if necessary.
