700 People Quarantined In Kuwait

Around 700 Kuwaiti nationals have so far been quarantined to ensure they have not contracted the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

According to Al Qabas, 499 Kuwaiti citizens suspected of being infected have been isolated at Al Khiran Park.

Citing official health sources, the newspaper said that 170 citizens are quarantined at Koot Hotel, while 30 others live in isolation at Jaber Hospital.

The ministry has so far confirmed 56 Covid-19 cases, involving citizens who returned from Iran and tested positive for the virus.

The Kuwaiti government has bought top quality equipment, which detect COVID-19 and other types of viruses within 10 days, from France and Germany.
