Students being charged is the slogan of some faculty members in one of the university faculties, neglecting the values and principles of the noble teaching profession, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources. They revealed that some professors have been charging students for giving them five extra points. They indicated that such an act is not unprecedented and has been happening for many years. Most of the time, students remain silent out of fear that they will be negatively impacted in some way. The sources explained that such acts have been repeatedly occurring because some professors were appointed without following the normal procedures, especially with the interference of some external bodies in the process of appointing the professors in order to meet their personal interests.
