31 Sign To Contest The Parliamentary Elections

A total of 31 citizens, including five women, registered on Tuesday to contest the parliamentary elections slated for Dec 5, 2020.

On the ninth day of registration for candidates in the 2020 parliamentary elections, the total number of candidates reached 364 including 33 women. The candidates who registered on Tuesday included former MPs Mohammad Barrak Al-Mutair, Ahmed Al-Fadl and Hassan Jawhar.

Six candidates – all men – applied for the First Constituency, five men and one woman in the Second Constituency, two women and one man in the Third Constituency, eight men in the Fourth Constituency, and six men and two women in the Fifth Constituency. By Saeed Mahmoud Saleh Arab Times Staff.
