About 27,000 medical leaves were issued to male and female employees who were assigned to work during the national day holidays. quoting reliable sources. They revealed that hospitals and health centers were filled with men and women who feigned illness in order to escape duty during the national day holidays. The sources indicated that many of these individuals who pretended to be ill had either travelled overseas or spent the holidays in chalets, livestock pens, farms and stables.
