20 Expats Arrested For Drugs In 16 Cases

Twenty expats of various nationalities were arrested by the General Department of Narcotics Control in 16 cases. Approximately 13 kilograms of various narcotics were seized, including Crystal Meth, Hashish, Chemicals, Marijuana, and Cocaine. Additionally, 29,100 pills of various psychotropic substances, such as Larica, Captagon, Zinex, and Metadol, were confiscated. The operation also uncovered proceeds from drug sales, and one of the defendants was found to be in possession of unlicensed ammunition.

As soon as the defendants were confronted with the seized items, they confessed to owning the substances for the purpose of trafficking and abuse. Afterwards, both the individuals and the confiscated items were turned over to the competent authority for legal action to be taken.
