100%vaccination Rate For Those Registered On The Platform With The First Dose

Informed sources revealed that the rate of vaccination of those registered on the platform with the first dose of approved vaccines for “Covid 19”, has reached 100%, explaining that the Ministry of Health will soon finish preparing a list of those who deserve the third booster dose, and they are those who suffer from a severe shortage in Immunology, the elderly, and those with chronic diseases, as well as the medical staff.

The sources expected that the third dose of the vaccine would start within two weeks, stressing its importance to give the human body sufficient immunity from the most widespread and severe “delta” mutant.

Regarding the period between the first and second doses for students, she revealed that it was reduced from 6 weeks to three, coinciding with the start of the school year, explaining that the last period witnessed a significant expansion in the vaccination campaign, and the Ministry approved more than 100 health centers and vaccination sites, which contributed to stability. The epidemic situation, at a time when the proportion of recipients of the two doses was close to 70%, which indicates the imminent return of normal life in the coming days.

She stressed that the ministry is now working to raise the percentage of completion of the second dose in the community and among school students to resume the school year.

For his part, the head of the advisory committee to confront “Corona” d. Khaled Al-Jarallah raised the rate of vaccination of school students and the rates of community immunization, pointing to the continuation of the epidemiological decline locally and in the Gulf.

Al-Jarallah confirmed, in a tweet, the provision of seasonal vaccinations in anticipation of the season of viral diseases, reiterating his call to maintain precautionary and preventive measures.
