The Cabinet has approved the proposal to amend Article 41 of the Civil Service Law to increase the number of unused leave days, which will be converted to cash at the end of service, from 90 days to 180 days, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
Sources said the proposal states that in case an employee decides to report back to work after receiving the cash equivalent for 180 unused leave days, he will be required to return the amount corresponding to the number of days he did not work.On the other hand, sources said Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh will preside over the CSC meeting on Monday; during which they will discuss the request of some ministries regarding their organizational structures.
Meanwhile, director of Jobs and Budget at Civil Service Commission (CSC) Bader Al-Hamad affirmed that university graduates are generally nominated for jobs in different sectors of the government according to the requirements of labor market, and many students are optimistic to get satisfactory jobs after graduation, reports Al-Qabas daily.
