Asian Expatriate Was Arrested For Smuggling 6.1 Kg Of Heroin

An Asian expatriate was arrested for smuggling 6.1 kilograms of heroin and large quantities of “Ice” drug by hiding them inside a shipment of electronic equipment sent to the country via courier. According to sources, when the Drugs Control General Department received information about a suspicious package sent to Kuwait via an air cargo company, a team was formed for monitoring the package.

When an Asian expatriate arrived to receive the package, he was arrested. When the package was checked, 6.1 kilograms of heroin drug and a large quantity of “Ice” drug was found hidden among some electronic devices. When questioned, the suspect confessed to smuggling drugs into Kuwait and selling them to his clients who are drug users. He was referred with the confiscated drugs to the concerned authorities for further investigations.
