Year-End Security Operations : 23 Arrested For Intoxication, 143 Wanted Persons Apprehended
During the last week of the year, the security deployment and rescue policemen in Kuwait made significant strides, arresting 23 individuals found in an abnormal state and in possession of alcohol and drugs. The police also apprehended 143 wanted persons, issued 11,154 citations, and successfully managed three fire incidents during the rescue campaigns.
In parallel, the General Traffic Department police were vigilant on the roads, capturing 11 minors driving without a license, referring 50 violators for investigation, and issuing 19,540 violations. The department also dealt with 1,170 traffic accidents during this period, including 255 serious accidents.
