The mystery surrounding the death of a woman in Kuwait lingers on, Kuwait Timesreported.
Forensic experts and detectives were unable to identify the victim as her fingerprints were not found in the database, which led them to believe that she could either be a visitor or an illegal expatriate overstaying her visa.
A citizen spotted the body of the woman in a desert area and alerted police who rushed to the location and launched an investigation.
The woman, believed to be in her thirties, was wearing pants and a shirt, with her throat slashed.
The body, which was bearing traces of violence and fractures, was recovered by the coroner for a post mortem.
