Violating Shops Get Citations

The head of the Emergency and Rapid Intervention Team at Hawalli Governorate Municipality Ibrahim Al-Saba’an, has issued nine citations to various establishments for either failing to renew their advertising licenses, placing goods for sale outside stores without proper licensing and issued warnings for trespassing on government property, reports Al- Jarida daily. These measures were taken during inspection tours in Al-Sha’ab Al-Bahri and Salmiya. Al-Saba’an emphasized the importance of compliance with municipal laws and regulations to avoid penalties, including fines that could potentially lead to administrative closures of businesses. He urged shop owners to ensure they adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, promoting a safe and orderly business environment within the municipality.
