Union Demands Abolition Of ‘architectural Consultations’

The head of the Union of Kuwaiti Engineering Offices and Consulting Offices, Engineer Badr Al-Salman, has praised the speedy response of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman to the Engineering Professional Companies Law which demands to do away completely with the activity of what the union called ‘Architectural Consultations’.

Engr Al-Salman said the Minister’s speedy response to the union’s demands will help demand compliance by engineers to all laws and regulations and mandate all engineers to submit a membership and registration certificate issued by the Union.

He told Al-Jarida the union calls for adherence to the Companies Law issued recently adding the engineers also require approval of the Committee for the Practice of the Engineering Profession and membership in the Union.
