Turning Waste Into Energy Comes Back To The Fore

It seems that the Council of Ministers is seeking once again to revive the project of converting solid waste into electrical energy in Kabd, after it was frozen following the investor’s apology to implementation it.

The source suggested that the Prime Minister’s Office’s request to the PPP to provide it with a vision of the vital project is linked to the possibility of reviving it and putting it on the track of implementation, given the environmental benefits that can be achieved, reports Al-Rai daily.

The sources said the project can be revived according to the partnership system as it was previously planned, or through Kuwait’s agreement with one of the countries with which it has environmental agreements to take over the implementation of the project.
